When I first met Amanda she was in an unhealthy relationship, family life was unstable; she lived on a rough estate in London, had no self-esteem, trusted no one and didn’t dare to dream. But her interest in and commitment to her personal growth and spiritual development had already been awakened. It was clear she was a rising star despite her early years life experiences.

Amanda set to work determined to put that life experience to good use and gain new and exciting skills. Her innate skills were already evident. No one could make things happen on a shoestring better than Amanda. Not only was she a skilled juggler with her finance, if the money wasn’t there, it would turn up in some way.

Despite her extremely unsettled early education, Amanda’s thirst for knowledge drove her on into education and volunteering positions to gain deeper insight into the areas of her interest. She studied Transactional Analysis, Reiki and other forms of healing, avidly read numerous books containing profound philosophies and complex concepts and also developed her mediumship abilities to the point where she is now a professional Medium with a growing number of diary dates for next year. We all have our ways of seeking answers to the bigger pictures in life that grab our attention, in Amanda’s case; books have been known to jump off shelves containing everything she needs to know to move forward.

Today, she lives in Brighton with her two lovely daughters and has recently moved into her second home. She has been fully committed to her various volunteering roles working with homeless people, survivors of abuse, in drug and alcohol projects and giving welfare rights advice to clients in a range of circumstances. Needless to say, despite all logic, the necessary refurbishment is happening in her new home as I write!

Life hasn’t been a complete fairy tale of course, there have been some very difficult lessons and tests on her journey but her will to change her circumstances and faith that anything is possible, has been so great that she and her daughters now live in a secure environment with plenty of choices to suit their interests, in a new home, her purse always stretches to what she needs and she’s doing what she loves!

‘Just thought I’d let you know, I got another date for my diary, was trying to decide whether it felt right to charge for the session, when I found a £250 lottery ticket on the floor. I can get new curtains now! Thanks for the session the other day. Things are really coming together now!’
