HAVE YOU EVER BEEN BULLIED?

This month's story, The Camelasaurus Patchwork Pig, is about a little girl called Emma who has just moved to a new house, in a new area and is being bullied at school.  One day, whilst exploring her new garden, she meets a magical creature called Camela who teaches her how to deal with bullies.

Excerpt

"Now, tell me why you’re sad and what would make you happy Emma.”

“The children were nasty to me at school and I didn’t know anyone and I want to see my daddy and I want new friends.” Said Emma beginning to cry

“Oh it’s all right little one, we’ll find a way to fix it. What did the children do?”

“They said I talked funny and had long ears like a rabbit.”

“Just a minute, I’ve got just the thing, there’s a mirror somewhere in
Hump 3. Hop on this green patch and have a look for it.” Said Camela...

“Now, tell me,” said Camela looking straight into her eyes, “has anyone ever told you, you talk funny before?”

“No, I don’t think so.”

“And do you think you talk funny?”

“Not really, just different.”

“Exactly Emma, not funny, just different. Well done! you’re a very clever girl.”
